Manned by technical staff they will either solve the problem over the phone or deploy one of Synectics' service engineers nationally to solve the problem.
Cutting the Cost of Service Support
All support call data is compared with a number of databases used to provide an audit record of all CCTV systems installed back to the components used, the engineer who installed the systems and when it was last serviced and by whom. As standard, Synectics service and support contracts include call out and fault tracking analysis. This allows us to use this trending information to quickly identify problem components and take steps to replace them. It also allows us to provide you with accurately predict preventative maintenance service information based on device, bus route: suburban and rural, and ensure upgrades are available ahead of time. We're also looking for reoccurring problems and we'll advise you on how to prevent them and reduce your support costs.
CCTV Health Checker
An integral part of the Genius telematics system is the CCTV Health Checker which monitors the vehicle's CCTV system. Genius can be configured to automatically notify Synectics' helpdesk that the system is recording and all cameras are functioning, or a fault has been detected. The health-check CCTV data is transmitted in real-time to allow prompt and proactive action to be taken by Synectics' field service engineers.
