Synectics has also established an exceptional reputation, with international commercial companies, for sophisticated, custom-built electro-optical systems.
Synectics’ long-range cameras are protecting countries’ borders against the illegal movement of drugs, people and weapons – and using experience, gained from its Radio Direction Finding developments, the company recently won a contract from the UK’s National Air Traffic Service (NATS) for an auto-triangulation system, permitting air traffic controllers to track emergency transmissions from aircraft.
