Synectic Systems, Inc. (Synectics) opened its US office in May 2005 after acquisition of California-based AlphaPoint, LLC. The merger combined two highly successful security companies with complementary strategies, products and personnel.

Founded in 2003, AlphaPoint was an early technology leader in large-scale DVR systems for casinos with over 5000 digital video channels successfully installed in North America. Their engineering expertise in IT networked systems, CCTV, enterprise storage, and custom software applications, formed the perfect foundation for representing Synectics products in the Americas.

Since 1985, Synectics has developed a wide range of analogue, digital and software products renowned for reliability, flexibility and scalability. We manufacture matrix switches, encoders, video storage servers, mobile DVRs, and a variety of long range, marine and explosion-rated industrial cameras.  Our award-winning command and control software, ‘Synergy,’ seamlessly integrates Synectics products to third party switches, PTZs, IP cameras, access control, building management and POS systems in a user-friendly, map-based environment.
