Pre-Sales

Project Design and Specification

Synectics can provide a complete engineering service designing a complete CCTV system solution to meet the requirements of the customer. This can be carried out at any stage in the Project from initial design stage (Pre-FEED) and Synectics is happy to provide our recommendations or suggest improvements ensuring optimum operability of the system.

Site Surveys

Site surveys can be carried out by our qualified and experienced engineers to ensure that all aspects of the site and customer requirements are taken into account when proposing a CCTV solution, addressing and diagnosing any potentional concerns so that these can be addressed at the initial design stage.

Project Support and Services

Documentation

As part of our project engineering service we can provide complete project documentation in response to customers requirements which consists of:

  • Electrical and General Arrangement drawings of all COEXTM and Synectics products.
  • Specific documentation for approval ie Functional System Design Specification, Quality Procedure and Plan, Utility Consumption, Recommended Spares List, Special Tools Requirement.
  • Appropriate Certification ie ATEX Certification, Certificate of Conformity, Certificate of Origin, IP Certificates, Calibration Certificates, Test Certificates.
  • MTBF Calculations
  • Shipping and Handling Procedures/Documents
  • FAT Procedure
  • SAT Procedure
  • Erection and Installation Procedures
  • Technical Manuals (Instrument and Operating Manuals)
  • Product Manuals and Datasheets

System Configuration and Engineering

Synectics will engineer and configure the CCTV system to ensure complete operability of the products and software utilised.

Project Management and Engineering

Synectics provides a complete project management and engineering service as standard.

Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

A Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is a service offered by Synectics and can be either witnessed by the customer or a third party inspector in order to provide customer satisfaction and approval.

Complete System Testing

Synectics products are fully systems tested and quality checked to ensure operability as a complete CCTV system prior to despatch.

Integrated Factory Acceptance Test (IFAT)

At the customer's request Synectics will provide further peace of mind by providing full assistance and engineering support in the form of an Integrated Factory Acceptance Test (IFAT) at the customer's preferred location.

Site Services

Cable Termination and Fibre Splicing

Our engineers are fully trained in cable termination and fibre splicing. This service if required is carried out in conjunction with the commissioning activities

Installation Supervision

Our qualified and experienced engineers can provide installation supervision to ensure that the work carried out onsite meets the CCTV specification and customer requirements, and is completed to a high standard.

Commissioning

Our team of highly skilled, experienced engineers is available to commission any Synectics supplied system anywhere in the world. In association with our agents and offices across the world, Synectics can provide a complete commissioning service ensuring complete customer satisfaction and optimum operability of the CCTV system.

Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

On completion of the commissioning activities a Site Acceptance Test can be carried out by our engineers utilising the procedure previously approved by the Customer during the project engineering phase.

Training

Synectics can provide training courses tailor-made to suit the client’s requirements. Training courses can be provided in-house or on site (worldwide) and include:

  • CCTV basics
  • Maintenance & repairs
  • Operator training

Specialist training courses:

  • Hazardous area CCTV
  • Marine environment CCTV
  • Water/Air cooled kiln viewing CCTV

After Sales Support & Services

Warranty

Synectics offers a 12 month return to base warranty as standard. At an additional charge an extended warranty can be purchased in order to meet customer requirements.

Repairs

Synectics also has the capability to repair equipment down to component level in-house. We have a full range of service and test equipment at our disposal, and are capable of repairs to not only our systems, but to your existing legacy systems as well.
Even if it isn’t covered by one of our comprehensive maintenance contracts, we can quote you a price to repair or replace any part of your system, bringing you back up to full operation with the minimum fuss.

Maintenance

Once your CCTV system is commissioned and ready for use, the best way to ensure its continued operational capability, that it remains in optimum working condition and guarantees maximum longevity, is to purchase one of our comprehensive yearly maintenance agreements.

Our highly trained, qualified UK-based engineers will visit your site to complete routine servicing of your CCTV system at regular intervals, undertaking any repairs and replace any operational spares as required.

Synectics Industrial Systems also provides global maintenance support for international customers ensuring the same high level of service that is provided to UK customers.

The costs involved will depend on the level of service requested and the size of the installation.

Many Synectics Industrial Systems customers are realising the advantages and cost effectiveness of purchasing a maintenance agreement and therefore maximising the long term efficiency of their CCTV system.

Telephone/Email Support

Synectics provides a further level of support to assist its customers with technical and operational queries in the form of telephone and email support. This support is most useful for project locations that are more remote or difficult to access.
