Bateman Litwin has recruited specialist CCTV surveillance manufacturer, Synectics Industrial Systems, to supply a comprehensive CCTV system for the new Kazakhstan Power Station.
The 270 MW $190M power station, to be built on the shore of the Caspian Sea, is part of the development of the Kashagan oil fields in Kazakhstan for Italian energy concern Agip. Bateman's contract covers all procurement components. It has an option to expand the project to 320 MW
The Kashagan oil fields have a reserve capacity of approximately 8 bn barrels. 
Synectics Industrial Systems will be supplying its industry standard COEX™ FECH/2 fixed and the robust and durable COEX™ FECH/3 PTZ camera stations which will provide complete surveillance of the main generator buildings and outbuilding within the power station.
The control system Synectics is supplying will be able to link into the Kashagan offshore and onshore CCTV that Synectics has already successfully provided for the Kashagan projects.
